Why Schtumblr?
You may be asking yourself, “Why, out of the literally thousands of possible names you could have given your tumble log, did you settle on ‘Schtumblr’? Besides, isn’t there a law on the books requiring every single Saint Louis-centric website to include ‘stl’ somewhere in the URL? People are going to get confused, hon.”
Well, hypothetical reader, I’ll tell you why: I like to think this city can sustain a website that does more than make a few cutesy references to “the Lou” and build a design around a vague “arch” theme (although those are adorable). In Saint Louis, we’re into all sorts of noteworthy schit. To wit:
We drink Schlafly!
We shop at Schnucks!
We’re subsidized by Anheuser-Busch! (Or at least we’re willing to let them pay to put their name on every other building in town!)
Hence, the Schtumblr. Giddyup!
